On Wednesday, 2nd October, the guests did a pottery workshop in a pottery village Filovci. At the same time they could see traditional architecture and some traditions of the region. A walk to the lake Bukovnica followed where again guests could enjoy healthy natural environment in a relaxing and enjoyable way. The path lead through the vineyards and the forest. A healthy traditional snack was offered before the walk to the vineyards where the guests could enjoy the company of each other in a traditional grape harvest and a traditional lunch, a stew with game meat, called bograč. A vineyard is of course a place to grow vine, but moreover it is a place for meeting and entertaining friends and guests.
On Thursday all the guests and the teachers of the school took an all day trip to Postojna cave and the capital, Ljubljana. This way the guests got to experience some highlights Slovenia has to offer and learnt something about the history of the country. Postojna caves are the first Karst caves that have been explored and open to public. They are the most beautiful natural wonder of the underground in the world, inhabited with unique animals living only in the caves and adapted to the life without sunlight. Ljubljana is the largest town in Slovenia with about 300 000 inhabitants and it is the capital with long history. We visited the castle rising above the town centre and got a magnificent view of Ljubljana. After that we took a walk along the river Ljubljanica to enjoy the baroque architecture.
On Friday the students tried a cycling activity as this is a popular way of transport and recreation at the same time. After snack all the guests were taken bowling as another social physical activity. The afternoon was dedicated to leisure activities of their choice, where the guests could select between swimming in natural mineral water, sauna, fitness club, cycling, Nordic walking, beach volley, badminton, garden chess, golf... The organised activities finished with a farewell dinner at the hotel.

On Saturday morning the guests were escorted to Graz or Vienna where they did more sightseeing and/or continued their journey home.
